Dr. Laurent Gabriel Ndijuye is an education and research specialist with over fourteen years of experience working on issues related to equity and social justice in education. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Hong Kong. Currently Dr. Ndijuye is a lecturer in the School of Psychology and Special Education - the University of Dodoma, Tanzania. He was part of the team that developed a Measure of Early Learning Environment Setting (MELQO) - a tool to evaluate holistic children’s development and quality of services in the context of low-and-middle-income countries. Additionally, Laurent was a co-project lead, and Consultant (Africa side) - Play and resilience: A conceptual framework for China - Africa collaboration project for building a peaceful and sustainable future. He is a person who clearly understands education systems and challenges after accumulating working experiences as NGO project supervisor, school principal, and academician. He can communicate in fluent English, Kiswahili, French, and Kirundi/Kinyarwanda.
